Texture Pack Summary
I recently tried the Legendary Texture Pack by Pathway Studios for Minecraft Bedrock, which you can find on the Minecraft Marketplace. From my texture pack review, I noticed the pack has some cool 3D details on mobs like the Warden and Ender Dragon that really stand out. The medieval style and armour designs are creative, but the block textures can feel messy and busy sometimes. Some parts, like coral and carpets, look rough and outdated. Overall, the mobs save the pack because they add lots of life and personality.
In my opinion, the Legendary Texture Pack is good but not perfect and definitely not as great as I remember. It has some inconsistent textures that feel like they were made with 2 different visions and could use a refresh and re-alignment to feel more modern. If Pathway Studios updated the blocks to match the awesome mob designs, this pack would be AMAZING. I’d give it a 7 out of 10. If you play Minecraft Bedrock and want a texture pack with detailed mobs and a medieval vibe, it’s worth checking out on the Minecraft Marketplace.
Pros
Awesome 3D mob models – The mobs like the Warden, Ender Dragon, and Sniffer have great 3D details that really bring them to life.
-
Creative medieval armor and weapons – The armor sets and weapons have unique shapes and colors that stand out from the usual Minecraft look.
-
Good mob personality and design – Mobs like the strider and wandering trader look interesting and well-designed.
Cons
Busy and rough block textures – Many blocks, like carpets/wool and coral, have messy, overly detailed, or rough textures that are hard to look at.
-
Inconsistent texture quality – Some textures are clean and polished while others feel outdated or cluttered, making the pack feel uneven (big difference between brick blocks and others).
Some mob designs feel basic or out of place – The ghast with horns and some mobs like the wither skeleton don’t match the quality of others and feel less creative (the Warden is a massive bar).
