Texture Pack Summary
I recently reviewed the Cyberpunk Neon Texture Pack by HeroPixel Games for Minecraft Bedrock, and wow this one goes all in on the theme. From the second you load into a world, it’s like stepping into a bright, neon-lit future. The textures are vibrant and futuristic, with glowing mobs, crazy block variations, and even custom sounds. For 660 Minecoins, you get 15 skins and a Texture Pack that totally transforms Minecraft into a cyberpunk world. The GUI and hotbar look amazing, and I loved the little touches, like circuitry in the leaves and flowers, and robotic animals with glowing eyes. Even villages are filled with crop jars and glowing lights. It’s a wild experience, and even though the villagers stuck a bit too close to their vanilla models, the world itself felt alive and immersive.
Now, the pack isn’t perfect. Some mobs, especially in the Nether and ocean, don’t have any variations, which is a shame after seeing how creative the overworld and End mobs are. The Nether also felt a bit toned-down compared to the rest of the game, missing some of the wacky flair. Armour and weapons look good, but a few were hard to see clearly. Despite that, I still had a blast using this pack and ended up giving it a solid 8 out of 10. If you're into Cyberpunk 2077 or just love bold, colourful designs, this pack will definitely stand out in your collection.
Pros
- Vibrant Neon Aesthetic: The entire pack glows with bold neon colours, turning Minecraft into a cyberpunk-themed world.
- Custom Sounds and UI: Includes unique sound effects, a redesigned GUI, and a futuristic hotbar for full immersion.
- Detailed Mob Designs: Many mobs like the Iron Golem, Warden, and Enderman have creative, glowing cyberpunk styles.
- Biomes Feel Alive and Transformed: Blocks like trees, flowers, crops, and glass are reworked into sci-fi versions with wires, lights, and energy.
- Great Value for 660 Minecoins: The pack includes 15 skins, complete textures, and extra details that make it feel like a premium purchase.
Cons
- Nether Feels Underdeveloped: Compared to the overworld and End, the Nether lacks texture variety and glowing features.
- Some Mobs Left Unchanged: Ocean mobs, piglins, and certain nether creatures still use basic or vanilla-inspired models.
- Villager Models Are Too Vanilla: Most villagers are unchanged, which breaks immersion in the otherwise futuristic setting.
- A Few Weapons Lack Clarity: While futuristic, some weapons and tools are hard to see clearly or feel flat in hand.
- Inconsistent Glow and Detail: Certain blocks and mobs feel more detailed than others, creating a slight lack of balance in design quality.
