Texture Pack Summary

In this Minecraft Slime Texture Pack review, I checked out the Slime Texture Pack by Tetrascape, which costs 1,170 Minecoins. It says you’ll explore a slime filled world, but honestly, most of it just looks like normal Minecraft. Some parts are cool, like the Warden, which looks super slimy and detailed, but most mobs like cows, chickens, and pigs aren’t changed at all or they’re even broken. The blocks, GUI, and menus barely look different, and it doesn’t feel like a true slime world. Even worse, the pack hasn’t been updated since 2022 and only works on version 1.19, which makes it feel outdated.

There are a few good textures here and there, and the colours are bright and clean, but it doesn’t match the slime theme it promises. For a high price like this, I expected way more. The best part was the Warden design. It had green slime splatters and dripping details, which looked awesome. But one good mob isn’t enough to save the rest. So if you’re asking, “Is the Minecraft Slime Texture Pack worth it?”, I’d say no. I gave it a 4 out of 10. It’s overpriced, missing updates, and doesn’t stick to its theme. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Pros

  • Clean and colourful textures – Many of the blocks and mobs that are updated look sharp, smooth, and vibrant.
  • Amazing Warden design – The Warden model is highly detailed, covered in slime splatters and dripping effects that fit the theme perfectly.
  • Nice spider and skeleton textures – Hostile mobs like spiders, skeletons, and zombies show some effort with slime-like boils and gooey features.
  • Semi-transparent GUI – The in-game inventory menu has slight transparency that fits a slime theme, even if it's subtle.
  • Some block designs look decent – A few blocks, like mossy cobblestone and the prismarine variants, have interesting or clean looks.

Cons

  • Very few things actually look slimy – Most mobs, blocks, and biomes don’t follow the slime theme at all, making the name feel misleading.
  • Outdated and unsupported – The pack hasn’t been updated since 2022 and only works on version 1.19, which limits compatibility.
  • Broken mobs – Passive mobs like chickens and pigs are either default or broken, hurting immersion.
  • Minimal GUI and UI changes – Besides minor transparency, there are no real updates to the main menus or settings screens.
  • Too expensive for what you get – At 1,170 Minecoins, the pack offers very little content or effort to justify the price.
