Texture Pack Summary

I tried the Superheroes Texture Pack by Pathway Studios for Minecraft Bedrock, and it completely changes the game with a bright and futuristic comic book feel. Straight away the colours pop, with vibrant blues, greens, and oranges giving blocks and landscapes a lively tone. Passive mobs like chickens, cows, pigs, and sheep are all given superhero outfits and armour, from goggles to gauntlets, turning them into fun, costumed characters. Villagers are redesigned with masks and monocles, and even the iron golem is transformed into a hybrid “iron villager” with a striking costume .

The Nether and End also shine with unique redesigns. Piglins and Ghasts take on bold, menacing looks, blazes have scary faces, and wither skeletons glow with red highlights. The Ender Dragon is reimagined in icy blues and greys, while Endermen sport cyber-inspired gear. Ocean mobs and guardians are given new glowing effects, and structures like the ocean monument and End City feel polished with detailed textures. The only real downside is the repetitive copy-and-paste armour and weapon designs, which rely on simple colour swaps rather than unique sets.

Pros

  • Vibrant colours - Bright blues, greens, and oranges make the world feel lively and fun.
  • Costumed mobs - Chickens, pigs, cows, and sheep all wear superhero-style armour and outfits.
  • Creative villagers and golems - Villagers get masks and futuristic outfits, while the iron golem becomes an “iron villager”.
  • Detailed hostile mobs - Creepers, skeletons, and zombies feature cybernetics, costumes, and glowing effects.
  • Polished environments - Nether, End, and ocean monuments feature fresh designs and glowing textures.

Cons

  • Repetitive armour sets - Most armour and weapons reuse the same shapes with only colour changes.
  • Copy-paste designs - Chainmail, iron, gold, and diamond armour all feel too similar.
  • Some lazy textures - Certain blocks, like netherrack and end stone, are repeated patterns.
  • Uninspired drowned mobs - Drowned look like simple zombie copies with minimal effort.
  • Overpriced feel - At 830 minecoins, the reuse of designs makes it feel less valuable than expected.
